Connor Austin Jones

Connor Austin Jones is an emerging writer-director from the DMV.

Following studies at the Geffen School of Drama at Yale’s Director’s Lab and with the Gotham Institute’s Narrative Series Fellowship, Connor produced and directed his debut short, ‘On The Line,’ which screened at Mammoth Film Festival and was nominated at Cannes Shorts.

His screenwriting work has since received accolades at the Beverly Hills International Film Festival, Big Apple Film and Screenplay Festival, and Atlanta Film Festival, amongst others.

He recently directed the ‘Full Moon’ music video for performing artist, D'Zhari, and is set to direct a sci-fi short film later this Summer.

Currently he’s a member of the Rideback Rise Circle and is focusing on telling YA/college-aged stories in the action-sports and science fiction genres.

His long-term vision is to direct - across film, TV, and stage - projects that entertain, educate and allow us to empathize with the too-often overlooked.
