Data we collect
FestOrbit may collect account details, contact information, country, festival and film profiles, payment references, PayPal transaction metadata, uploaded evidence, messages, screening permissions, advertising artwork, technical logs, email preferences, dedicated external-link submissions and related moderation or safety-review metadata. FestOrbit does not receive festival PayPal passwords or card details.
Public and professional sources
FestOrbit may process information submitted by users and profile owners, and information available from publicly accessible professional, festival, organization, marketplace, official-website and professional-profile sources used to build, verify or update directory profiles. Public availability does not mean FestOrbit claims an unrestricted right to copy or reuse third-party content. Further detail appears in the Data Sources, Rights & Security Policy.
Why we use data
Data is used to provide accounts and marketplace tools, verify festivals and directory profiles, process FestOrbit subscriptions, record direct-payment confirmations, support judging and permissions, prevent fraud, moderate external links, deliver communications, comply with law, improve the service and measure marketplace trust.
Talent contact information
A talent who activates Talent Listing Membership provides a working contact number and may provide a professional email, website and social links. These details are not displayed to public visitors. They are revealed only inside the individual FestOrbit profile to an eligible Talent Search subscriber after a recorded reveal action, or to the talent and authorised FestOrbit administrators.
Contact-reveal records
FestOrbit records the subscriber, subscription, talent profile, billing period, date, repeat views and reveal usage. These records support allowance enforcement, security, abuse prevention, complaints and audit requirements. FestOrbit does not offer subscriber-facing contact exports.
Directory claims, corrections and provenance
FestOrbit may retain limited non-public source or provenance records needed for verification, audit, disputes, fraud prevention and rights handling. Profile owners and subjects may use FestOrbit claim, correction, privacy, restriction/removal and copyright/trademark request processes described on the relevant claim and change-request pages and in the Data Sources, Rights & Security Policy.
Link moderation and safety data
When users submit official website, social or Additional Links, FestOrbit may store the label, URL, approval or rejection status, safety findings and reviewer notes needed to enforce the External Link & Acceptable Use Policy. Internal security implementation details are not published.
Sharing and processors
Relevant profile and submission data is shared with the festival or user involved in the transaction. Service providers such as hosting, email and PayPal may process data to provide their services. Public profile information, selections and winners are displayed only according to platform settings and user permissions.
Marketing and outreach
Users can manage optional marketplace emails through Email Preferences and unsubscribe links. Transactional, security and account-service messages may still be sent when necessary to operate the account. FestOrbit will not describe invited contacts as registered users unless they actually complete registration.
Cookies and logs
FestOrbit may use essential session cookies, security cookies and limited analytics needed to operate and protect the service. Non-essential tracking should be enabled only with appropriate notice and consent where required.
Smart Search and verified Help Centre
FestOrbit Smart Search applies explicit filters to published marketplace data. It is not a conversational AI and does not send search terms or marketplace records to an external generative-AI provider. The Help Centre displays administrator-approved answers rather than generated policy responses.
Help Centre searches and support tickets
Help Centre search terms may be processed to locate approved answers. Support-ticket details, contact information and replies are stored so FestOrbit can respond, maintain an audit trail and resolve the request. FestOrbit does not use a public conversational assistant or automatically send support content to a generative-AI model.
Retention and security
Data is retained only for legitimate operational, contractual, fraud-prevention, accounting and legal purposes. Legacy assistant records and support-ticket data are retained only for legitimate support, security, accounting, legal and dispute-resolution purposes and are removed according to configured retention rules where applicable. FestOrbit uses access controls, secure transport, audit logs and reasonable technical safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent or grievance handling by contacting . Requests may be limited where records must be retained for legal, security, accounting or dispute purposes.
International processing
FestOrbit serves users internationally, so information may be processed in India and in countries used by service providers. Appropriate contractual and technical safeguards should be maintained where required.

FestOrbit is not designed for children to independently enter commercial contracts. A minor must use the service through an authorised adult or organisation and any child-related data must be handled with required consent.
