Chris Elder

Elder is a music based photographer & video producer based out of Sydney, Australia.

Starting with humble beginnings as a concert photographer back in 2004, Elder has since amassed a portfolio of work that includes over 100 band promo photoshoots, and over 100 music videos, seen in countless magazines, album artworks, and online publications.

In 2012, Elder established the production company HAUS PARTY in response to the requirements of larger artist collaborations.

For a number of years he freelanced as a content creator for Sony Music, working with many local and international artists (Little Mix, Fifth Harmony, Guy Sebastian, Delta Goodrem, Jessica Mauboy, The Veronicas), before producing music videos through HAUS PARTY for artists such as Ed Sheeran, The Amity Affliction, ILLY, Northlane, Thy Art Is Murder, Polaris, and Peking Duk (for whom his video “REPRISAL” was nominated as “Best Video” at the ARIA Awards, and won “Best Narrative” at the Clipped Music Video Festival).

After 19 years in the music industry, he continues to work closely with Australian artists, acknowledging that full support for the local music scene is a paramount investment in our culture, whilst shifting further towards a mentoring position for other upcoming artists and content creators.
