Mosmos, Mostra Stop Motion de Sagunt

Films directed by people of any nationality are welcome.

Filmmakers may submit as many works as they wish.

Works must be exclusively stop-motion animation, and any of its techniques may be used: pixilation, cut-out, claymation, etc. AI-generated proposals are not accepted. In the "abstraction" category, proposals with figurative visual language of any kind will not be accepted.

If the film includes live action, the animation must comprise at least 50% of the short film.

Films between 30 seconds and 15 minutes in length will be accepted.

The film must be in Spanish or Valencian. If it is in another language, it must be submitted with Spanish or Valencian subtitles.

Productions completed after January 2025 are eligible.

The deadline for submissions is October 15,. A jury appointed by the festival organizers will select the films that will compete in the official section. The decisions of the Selection and Programming Committee and the Jury are final.

The selected short films will form the “official section” and will be publicly screened in some primary and secondary schools in Sagunto, and/or at the Casal Jove de Port and Casal Jove de Sagunt youth centers, as well as in the city of Valencia. The audience will vote for their favorite short films at the end of the screenings.
