Organization LIFE AFTER OIL International Film Festival is organized by LIFE AFTER OIL Associazione Culturale based in Sardinia and in collaboration with public and private entities.

Purposes The main purpose of the festival is to promote films on the experiences and projects for alternatives to oil and fossil fuels. They can participate in LIFE AFTER OIL International Film Festival movies or audiovisual documents without time limit and/or genre. As we are preparing for the post-petroleum era?

Official language All works will be accepted in all languages with subtitles in English or Italian.

Entry to the festival and deadline Competitions include environmental and human rights theme films produced from January 1st 2025. Works accepted realized within cinema workshops organized by public and also produced films such as dissertations. The deadline for submissions, is set to January 15th 2027. Films entered in past editions will be automatically excluded.

Selected Films The jury of pre-selection and the artistic director of the festival will select the works to be shown to the public and those eligible for prizes
