We are pleased to announce the call for entries for the 6th edition of IMPACTE! Human Rights Film Festival of Catalonia, which will take place: April 5–11, 2027, Onsite Version in Barcelona, with partial editions in several Catalan cities at different times of the year.
Online Version on Spanish platforms, on dates to be confirmed, sometime in 2027. Films We are looking for stories that speak out against injustice and human rights violations around the world, films that combine rigorous investigation with narrative and visual treatment capable of impacting the critical thinking of wide audiences.
Both in fiction and documentary formats. We are interested in criticism, but also in struggle, denunciation, defense of rights and, specifically, the proposal of alternatives: common aid, solidarity, cooperation...
The topics are free, but always within the scope of Human Rights -both traditional and of new generation-, global Justice and the culture of Peace. In this 6th edition, we will dedicate a section to reflecting on war and peace, conflict and agreement, so we look forward to receiving films on these topics.
We are especially interested in receiving films addressed to children and young people. Other topics will not be considered.
