About Horror In The Underground: Halloween Film Festival
Physical film festival with submission categories including Short Films and Feature Films.
The First Annual Horror in the Underground: Halloween Film Festival will take place in Kuopio, Finland October 31, 2026 at the Sawohouse Underground. We are looking for horror movie submissions from up and coming or aspiring film makers who wish to showcase their work at what we are hoping to be the first of many more festivals to come!
This one day film festival will include films by indie film makers with the headlining film being the classic 80's vampire film The Lost Boys. To help us celebrate the film,the Helsinki Vampires and Finnish goth band, The 69 Eyes will perform after the film to celebrate their 20th anniversary of their hit song, Lost Boys, based on the classic horror film.
