About Horror Hazard Film Fest
Physical film festival with submission categories including Mejor Cortometraje Global and Mejor Cortometraje Nacional (Costa Rica).
Fest is an international film festival dedicated to showcasing short films within the horror, suspense, and mystery genres. Based in Costa Rica, the festival aims to create a space where filmmakers from around the world can share their work, connect with audiences, and explore the darker side of storytelling.
We welcome projects that evoke tension, fear, and psychological impact. Science fiction is also accepted when it incorporates elements of suspense or danger.
Our goal is to support emerging and established filmmakers by providing a platform for visibility, exhibition, and audience engagement. Beyond screenings, the festival may feature interviews, promotional content, and additional exposure opportunities for selected filmmakers through our platforms and media presence.
