We have been in the film festival business for years. In fact, we launched the Hamilton New York International Film Festival in 2009, and we have watched it grow from a weekend festival showcasing regional films to a seven day film event that is attracting visiting filmmakers from across the Globe.
Over the Past 18 years with HNYIFF we realized how much people like to laugh. The weekend Festival will hold Q & A sessions after the screenings, panel discussions and meet and greet opportunities for our filmmakers and film fans to connect.
Hamilton is located in the beautiful Chenango Valley region of Central New York. Long known as weekend retreat for city dwellers from New York, Boston, Ottawa, and Toronto, the Chenango Valley boasts some of the most beautiful vistas in North America and has gained an international reputation for its cultural events, outdoor activities and academic institutions.
