Festival RÊve En Court (ASSOCIATION DREAM LANDES)

The National Competition highlights a new generation of French filmmakers through a strong and committed editorial vision. This competition is dedicated to the theme “Women’s Voices”: submitted films must be directed by at least one woman. Projects co-directed by a woman and a man are eligible, provided that at least one woman is officially credited as director. Through this selection, the festival aims to showcase distinctive female perspectives, support the emergence of young women filmmakers, and contribute to a fairer and more inclusive representation of contemporary cinematic creation. Selected films compete for several awards presented by a jury of distinguished professionals, rewarding artistic rigor, directing, performance, and writing. The following awards will be presented during the National Competition: • Grand Prize (the Nuage, official trophy of the Rêve en Court Festival)

The International Competition celebrates the diversity of cinematic writing and sensibilities from around the world. It brings together films carried by emerging international talents, offering stories that are either universal in scope or deeply rooted in singular cultural realities. This competition reflects the festival’s ambition: to create a space for dialogue between cinematographies, beyond geographical and linguistic boundaries. The International Award, presented by a jury of distinguished professionals, honors a work whose artistic strength and creative journey bear witness to the perseverance, dedication, and passion required for filmmaking. The following award will be presented during the International Competition: • International Award (the Nuage, official trophy of the Rêve en Court Festival). This award is granted among the films selected in the International Competition. I

The Student Competition is dedicated to films produced within film schools, audiovisual programs, or artistic training institutions. It offers an essential showcase for emerging works and first directing experiences, fostering a spirit of encouragement and openness. The festival views this competition as a space for freedom, experimentation, and early artistic expression. By highlighting these films, the Rêve en Court Festival reaffirms its commitment to supporting talent from the very beginning and to reminding us that every artistic journey starts with a first screening. The following award will be presented during the Student Competition: • Best Student Film Award (the Nuage, official trophy of the Rêve en Court Festival). This award will be presented by a jury of distinguished professionals, based on audience votes.
