The Chicharrón Film Festival, held in Chiclana de la Frontera (Cádiz), celebrates its sixth edition from November 13th to 21st, 2026, establishing itself as a key event for emerging short films. The call for entries is open to short films of any theme, with a clear mission to serve as an inclusive platform for both new talents and established creators.
Our line-up commits to narrative and stylistic diversity, giving visibility to innovative and personal projects. Submissions will be evaluated by a professional, multidisciplinary jury—which will include representatives from RTVA for the Andalusian category—ensuring impartiality, criteria, and high quality in every decision.
Beyond the screenings, the festival is designed as a meeting point for filmmakers, the audience, and industry professionals. A place to share ideas, network, and fuel the passion for cinema.
