This is the objective of The Human Rights Film Festival, which will celebrate its 23 annual festival this year. The Human Rights Film Festival, with the central headquarter in Barcelona, is the oldest independent Human Rights Film Festival and one of the most important festival on Human Rights in all Spain and one of Spain’s most important and widely internationally established festival on Human Rights.

Mostrar películas que nos hagan pensar, despierten nuestra conciencia, denuncien las injusticias y reflejen la diversidad social y cultural de la humanidad. Este es el objetivo del Festival de Cine de Derechos Humanos de Barcelona, que este año celebrará su 23º edición anual.

El Festival de Cine de Derechos Humanos, de Barcelona, es el Festival de Cine de Derechos Humanos independiente más antiguo de toda España y uno de los festivales de Derechos Humanos más importantes internacionalmente establecidos.

Rules & Eligibility

General Rules+

  1. All films must be about Human Rights.

  2. The Festival will do international shows of the official section films in Spain and in countries of the global south in the world, with the aim to spread human rights themes before the beginning of the next edition.

  3. The festival reserves the right to change the final program.

  4. Participation in the Festival implies acceptance of these rules.

  5. Todas las películas deben ser sobre Derechos Humanos.

  6. Si tu película es seleccionada en algunos casos tendrás que enviar la copia de proyección en formato digital en alta definición al departamento de subtítulos.

  7. El Festival hará pases internacionales de las películas de la sección oficial en España y en países del sur global en el mundo, con el objetivo de difundir temas de derechos humanos antes del inicio de la próxima edición.

  8. Si el Festival no contesta una vez que sabes que se realizó la recepción del material es porque tu película no ha sido seleccionada.

  9. El festival se reserva el derecho de modificar el programa definitivo.

  10. La participación en el Festival implica la aceptación de estas bases.
